Social Events

BYC members have many opportunities throughout the year to enjoy each other's company and share our common interests in boating.  In addition to the major events described below, we also have informal events, such as our Friday Night Socials where members gather in the cafe area to enjoy beverages and light snacks.

For a complete listing of BYC social events, please see the Calendar page, or refer to the upcoming events listed below.  Hope to see you there!

Special Peoples Cruise
Special Peoples Cruise
special peepsA signature event of BYC and its largest community outreach program.  Held each year since 1982.  Special people start arriving about 3pm and are escorted to member’s boats for a short trip on the water.  Every year upwards of 125 of these special guests enjoy a ride around the Santa boat.  They can wave to Santa and even talk with Santa on the radio.  As our guests depart they are treated to a bag lunch provided by our local American Legion.  All volunteers then have a simple dinner in the BYC banquet hall.
